The First Irish Man in Texas

Hugo Oconór (also spelled Hugh O’Conor or Hugo O’Connor), an Irish-born Spanish colonial official. He served in the Spanish military and was notable in the 18th century for his role in the administration of Spanish Texas and the northern frontier of New Spain (now the southwestern United States).

“This place is awesome. food is great, lots of options. they have a great selection of Irish Whisky and Scotch even the rare stuff. and very reasonably priced. Shepherds pie and their burgers are great recommendations. If you get Dennis behind the bar you’re in great hands. Solid bartender super nice guy. I highly recommend this place. cheers.”

“I love this place!! Drinks are always great, service is friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for chilling or catching a game. Every time I go, I have to get the boneless buffalo wings and chicken quesadilla are addicting. Definitely check Hugh O’Connors out if you are in the area or need a good drink.”
